Registration for the 2025 Magnolia Amateur is now open.  Acceptance will be determined by the Tournament Committee.  WAGR, Spikemark, Golfweek Collegiate Rankings, and playing resume will be taken into consideration for invitation.  Please email us your playing resume for consideration by clicking the link below.  Thank you for your interest in competing in the 2024 Magnolia Amateur.

Entry:  
156 players as selected by the tournament committee

Divisions:  
Collegiate Players, Recent Graduates, and Mid-Amateurs will compete in the Open Division.  The low Mid-Amateur will be recognized upon completion of play.

Eligibility:  
Eligibility for invitation will be determined by the Tournament Committee.

Deadline:  The final field will be announced July 7th, 2025.  Please note that this also serves as the deadline for refunded withdrawals.  Any withdrawal notification received before 11:59pm on July 6th, 2025, will receive a refund.  Any withdrawal requests received after this date will forfeit entry fee.

 

 Withdrawal requests must be made via email to Director@MagnoliaAmateur.com.  Withdrawal request made via phone to Hattiesburg Country Club, or by any other method, will not be accepted.

Waiting List:  
The Tournament Committee will establish a waiting list, if necessary.

Dress Code:  
All players who enter the event must follow the dress code set forth by the Hattiesburg Country Club Board of Directors. All players must where collared shirts, Bermuda length shorts, no cut offs will be allowed and all players must keep their shirt tucked in during play. Hattiesburg Country Club is a Soft Spike only Facility.

College Event:  
We will have a separate tournament for players who are on the same college team.  This tournament will be separate from the main event and will consist of two player teams with lowest total aggregate score of both players determining who the winning team is.

Entry Fee:  
$400 per player.
Includes 3 rounds of golf, breakfast and lunch each day, and a tee gift. Practice round green fees are included in the price, however players are asked to pay a $30 cart fee.  Players may walk during competition, and caddies are allowed.
